Lhundrub Chime Gatsal Ling was founded in Dharamsala by Garje Khamtrul Rinpoche under the guidance of His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama. The monastery is dedicated to preserving the Buddhist teachings of sutra and mantra. Lhundrub Chime Gatsal Ling is a Nyingma monastery that follows the Mindroling lineage. In their studies and practice, the monks focus on the Seven Treasuries of the Omniscient Longchen Rabjampa and the works of the Great Fifth Dalai Lama, including his twenty-five pure visions entitled Bearing the Seal of Secrecy.
