The monks of Lhundrub Chime Gatsal Ling come from eastern Tibet, the sacred land of Pemako and northeast India. Here they gain a complete Buddhist education with a focus on philosophy and ritual. The curriculum they follow reflects the affinities of our founder, Garje Khamtrul Rinpoche, with its special emphasis on the works of the 14th-century Dzogchen master Longchen Rabjam and the pure visions of the Great Fifth Dalai Lama. Learn more about their instructors here and their daily life in the video included under Sponsorship.
Support our Monastery
The Lhundrub Chime Gatsal Ling Sponsorship Fund provides for the basic necessities of our monks. Donations and sponsorship monies pay for the cost of food, housing, clothing, study materials, health care and other essentials.
It costs just over US$30 a month, or $1 a day, to care for a monk. We welcome ongoing sponsorship or one-time donations which can be made by direct deposit to us through PayPal.
